Terms of Service
Last updated: August 15, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Speedline Tree Service website and, where applicable, your interactions with Speedline Tree Service regarding estimates, scheduling, and tree care services.
By accessing speedlinetreeservice.ca, contacting us, requesting an estimate, or engaging Speedline Tree Service to perform work, you agree to these Terms of Service where applicable.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or waive any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited or waived under applicable consumer-protection or other laws.
1. About Speedline Tree Service

Services may include tree removal, pruning and trimming, storm cleanup, brush and debris cleanup, and other related tree or property services agreed upon with the customer.
Our website is:

2. Website Use
The information on this website is provided for general informational purposes and to help customers learn about Speedline Tree Service and request our services.
You agree not to use this website:
- For any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
- To interfere with the operation or security of the website
- To attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, server, accounts, or systems
- To introduce viruses, malicious code, automated attacks, or other harmful technology
- To collect information from the website through unauthorized automated methods
- To impersonate another person or provide intentionally false information
We may restrict or block access to the website where reasonably necessary to protect our website, systems, customers, or business.
3. Information on Our Website
We make reasonable efforts to keep information on this website accurate and current. However, website content may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or information that does not apply to a particular property or situation.
Information on this website should not be considered a professional assessment of a particular tree or property. Tree condition, hazards, access requirements, equipment requirements, and the appropriate method of performing work can only be properly determined after considering the specific circumstances of the property.
4. Requesting an Estimate
You may request an estimate by telephone, email, through our website, or through another communication method offered by Speedline Tree Service.
When requesting an estimate, you agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
We may request information including:
- Your name and contact information
- The property address
- The type of service requested
- Information about the tree or property
- Photographs of the tree, work area, access points, or surrounding property
- Information about structures, utilities, fences, landscaping, or other conditions that may affect the work
5. Estimates and Quotes
Unless specifically stated otherwise, requesting an estimate does not require you to hire Speedline Tree Service and does not require Speedline Tree Service to accept the work.
An estimate is based on the information and conditions reasonably known when the estimate is prepared.
If the written estimate forms part of a consumer agreement, applicable Ontario consumer-protection laws may restrict how much the final price can exceed that estimate unless the customer approves additional work or a revised price. Nothing in these Terms overrides those legal rights.
The scope or price of work may need to change if previously unknown or materially different conditions are discovered, including unsafe trees, restricted access, hidden obstacles, utility conflicts, unexpected property conditions, additional requested work, or other circumstances that materially affect the work.
Where practical, significant changes to the agreed scope or price will be discussed with the customer before additional work is performed.
6. Acceptance and Scheduling
Work is considered scheduled only after Speedline Tree Service has accepted the job and scheduling arrangements have been made.
Requested or estimated dates are not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed by Speedline Tree Service.
Scheduling may be affected by weather, emergencies, equipment availability, site conditions, crew availability, safety concerns, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
7. Weather and Unsafe Conditions
Tree work can be affected by wind, rain, lightning, snow, ice, extreme temperatures, ground conditions, visibility, and other environmental factors.
Speedline Tree Service may postpone, suspend, or reschedule work when we reasonably determine that conditions could create an unacceptable safety risk or prevent the work from being completed properly.
Safety takes priority over maintaining a scheduled date or completion time.
8. Property Access
The customer is responsible for ensuring that Speedline Tree Service has reasonable access to the property and work area at the scheduled time.
This may include providing access through gates, driveways, yards, parking areas, or other areas necessary to safely perform the agreed work.
Please inform us before work begins about access restrictions, locked gates, septic systems, irrigation systems, underground structures, fragile landscaping, pets, neighbouring property concerns, or other conditions that may affect access or the work.
9. Property Owner Authorization
By authorizing work, you represent that you are the property owner or otherwise have authority from the property owner to authorize the requested work.
If a tree is located on or near a property boundary, you are responsible for identifying ownership and obtaining any permissions that may be required before work begins.
Speedline Tree Service may decline or postpone work where ownership, authorization, or property boundaries are unclear or disputed.
10. Underground and Hidden Utilities
The customer should advise Speedline Tree Service of known underground or concealed features that may affect the work.
These may include:
- Irrigation and sprinkler systems
- Private electrical lines
- Landscape lighting
- Invisible pet fencing
- Drainage systems
- Septic systems
- Private water lines
- Other underground or concealed installations
Additional precautions or utility locating may be required depending on the type of work being performed.
11. Work Area and Safety
Tree work can involve falling branches, wood, ropes, saws, machinery, vehicles, wood chips, and other hazards.
Customers, occupants, visitors, children, and pets must remain outside designated work areas while work is being performed.
Speedline Tree Service may establish temporary safety zones or restrict access to portions of the property while work is underway.
Please follow reasonable safety instructions provided by our crew.
12. Vehicles, Equipment, and Access Surfaces
Depending on the job, Speedline Tree Service may need to use trucks, trailers, chippers, lifts, climbing equipment, rigging equipment, or other machinery on or near the property.
The customer should advise us in advance of surfaces or areas that may not safely support equipment, including weak driveways, decorative surfaces, soft ground, septic beds, underground structures, or recently landscaped areas.
We will take reasonable care when accessing the property, but tree work may involve unavoidable temporary disturbance to grass, soil, or other surfaces depending on site conditions and the equipment required.
13. Landscaping and Surrounding Property
We take reasonable care to protect lawns, gardens, fences, structures, driveways, and other surrounding property while performing the agreed work.
Tree work inherently involves movement of branches, logs, ropes, debris, and equipment. Some temporary disturbance may be unavoidable depending on the tree, access, ground conditions, and nature of the work.
Please identify particularly fragile, valuable, hidden, or sensitive property before work begins.
14. Utilities and Overhead Lines
Trees located near electrical lines, communication lines, utility infrastructure, or other hazards may require special procedures, utility involvement, additional equipment, or postponement of work.
Speedline Tree Service may decline to perform work where utility conditions create a risk that cannot reasonably be managed by our crew.
15. Permits, Tree By-Laws, and Approvals
Tree removal or injury may be subject to municipal by-laws, permit requirements, conservation restrictions, utility requirements, heritage restrictions, or other laws depending on the location and circumstances.
Unless your written agreement expressly states that Speedline Tree Service will obtain a particular permit or approval, the property owner is responsible for determining whether permits, permissions, or other approvals are required and for obtaining them before work begins.
We may request proof of required authorization before proceeding with certain work.
Ontario municipalities may regulate or require permits for the injury or destruction of certain trees or woodlands, so applicable local requirements should be confirmed before work proceeds.
16. Neighbouring Properties
If access to neighbouring property is required, the customer is responsible for obtaining permission from the neighbouring property owner unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Speedline Tree Service may decline to enter neighbouring property without appropriate authorization.
17. Cleanup and Debris
Cleanup and debris removal will be performed according to the agreed scope of work.
Unless otherwise stated in the estimate or agreement, services may include reasonable cleanup of branches, wood, sawdust, or tree debris generated by the work.
Specific arrangements regarding logs, firewood, wood chips, brush, stump material, or other debris should be confirmed before work begins.
18. Stumps and Roots
Tree removal does not automatically include stump grinding, stump removal, root removal, or restoration of the area unless specifically included in the agreed scope of work.
Tree roots may extend beyond the visible stump and may remain underground after a tree has been removed.
Stump grinding or related services, if offered, may be quoted separately.
19. Emergency and Storm Work
Storm-damaged or hazardous trees may present unpredictable conditions and additional risks.
Emergency service availability is not guaranteed and may depend on crew availability, weather, accessibility, equipment, severity of the hazard, and other active emergencies.
Emergency or after-hours work may be subject to different pricing or conditions where disclosed and agreed upon before work begins.
20. Changes to the Scope of Work
If the customer requests additional work after a job has begun, that work may result in additional charges and additional time.
Where required by applicable law or the applicable agreement, changes to the work or price will be documented and approved before the additional work is performed.
21. Payment
Payment requirements, payment schedules, deposits, accepted payment methods, taxes, and due dates will be communicated in the applicable estimate, invoice, or service agreement.
Customers are responsible for paying amounts properly due for authorized services in accordance with the agreed payment terms.
Any applicable taxes will be charged as required by law.
22. Deposits
Some projects may require a deposit before materials are ordered, equipment is reserved, or work is scheduled.
If a deposit is required, the applicable amount and any terms relating to that deposit will be disclosed before payment is requested.
23. Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule scheduled work, please contact Speedline Tree Service as soon as reasonably possible.
Any cancellation fees, deposit conditions, or other consequences of cancellation will apply only where they were properly disclosed and are permitted by applicable law.
Certain consumer agreements may provide statutory cancellation or cooling-off rights under Ontario law depending on the circumstances in which the agreement was entered into. Nothing in these Terms removes any cancellation right provided by law.
24. Delays and Events Outside Our Control
Speedline Tree Service is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control, including:
- Unsafe weather conditions
- Storm emergencies
- Equipment breakdowns
- Utility restrictions
- Road closures
- Government or municipal restrictions
- Labour or material shortages
- Unsafe site conditions
- Unexpected tree conditions
- Other events that reasonably prevent or delay the work
Where possible, we will communicate material scheduling changes to affected customers.
25. Tree Health and Future Condition
Trees are living organisms and their future condition cannot be guaranteed.
Pruning, removal recommendations, or other tree-care work are based on conditions reasonably observable at the time of assessment or service.
Weather, disease, pests, soil conditions, hidden defects, structural failure, construction activity, environmental stress, and other factors may affect a tree after work is completed.
26. No Guarantee Against Future Tree Failure
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, tree inspection, pruning, trimming, or other services do not guarantee that a tree or remaining portion of a tree will never fail, drop branches, become diseased, or create a future hazard.
If you become aware of a material change in a tree’s condition after our work, you should consider obtaining an updated assessment.
27. Photographs and Job Documentation
Speedline Tree Service may take photographs of trees, work areas, or completed work for documentation, estimating, safety, quality-control, or record-keeping purposes.
We will not intentionally publish personally identifying customer information for promotional purposes without appropriate permission.
28. Customer-Supplied Information
We may rely on information provided by the customer concerning ownership, boundaries, utilities, access, property conditions, permits, and requested work.
Please notify us promptly if information previously provided becomes inaccurate or incomplete.
29. Third-Party Contractors and Service Providers
Where appropriate, Speedline Tree Service may work with subcontractors, equipment providers, disposal facilities, utility providers, or other service providers in connection with a project.
Any use of third parties will be handled in a manner appropriate to the nature of the work and applicable contractual requirements.
30. Website Links and Third-Party Content
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services.
Speedline Tree Service does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, or terms.
Access to third-party websites is at your own discretion.
31. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the text, branding, logos, graphics, designs, photographs owned by Speedline Tree Service, and other original website content are owned by or licensed to Speedline Tree Service.

We may update, suspend, modify, or remove portions of the website without notice when reasonably necessary.
33. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Speedline Tree Service will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or purely economic losses arising solely from use of this website.
For tree-care services, responsibility for loss or damage will be determined in accordance with the applicable agreement and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by law, including rights that may apply under Ontario consumer-protection legislation.
34. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or costs resulting from your unlawful use of the website, intentional misconduct, or material breach of these Terms.
This provision does not limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.
35. Privacy

Any dispute will be subject to the courts or other lawful dispute-resolution processes having jurisdiction in Ontario, subject to any rights or procedures required by applicable consumer-protection law.
37. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
38. No Waiver
If Speedline Tree Service does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean we waive the right to enforce it later.
39. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes to our website, services, business practices, or legal requirements.
The most current version will be posted on this page with the updated date shown at the top.
